We Turn A RAM 3500 into A Jeep 1 Day a Year
We’ve been attending since 2017 when I bought my first Jeep. Our first year we didn’t know much of what to expect. We brought 1 toy. We felt so out of place but that didn’t stop us from attending again. Seeing all the decked Out jeeps, everyone having a good time, the raffles and donations was just astounding. We just knew we had to step up our game. After that our goal was every year to fill up my jeep as much as we could. Well it didn’t go quite as expected as years went on. A 4 door Jeep Wrangler seats down couldnt fit all the toys we bought, stacked top to bottom front to back. After that we asked if we could make it a JEEP convoy with 1 Ram named Jeep for the day to make use of our 16′ dump trailer. So we did it, and got our employees and friends involved. We annually make a day of large shopping spree with our friends, employees, truck and trailer to fill her up. We just absolutely love filling the carts of toys.
It was our first or 2nd year of bringing our trailer, once the marine trucks were too full we were able to compact some more toys into our trailer and we got to help unload all toys at the base from our trailer.
Last year, we were trying to avoid bringing the trailer because of parking and the weather(rainy). Night before we tried stuffing my jeep full and only got maybe 1/8 of toys we bought to fit. So then decided ok let’s fit the rest in the truck bed and backseat in boxes. Well that still wasn’t enough room. Frustrated, we decided to leave the rest behind what we couldn’t fit and headed on our way. Morning coffee and gas stop just a few miles from our house, we met with another jeeper in the area and asked if she wouldn’t mind going back to our house and filling up her jeep whatever more we could fit, so we did exactly that.
This year I have been having some major electrical problems. Here came August/September registration opened, we were getting extremely worried that we wouldn’t be able to attend, I still purchased my ticket with hopes.
Thankfully we were able to attend this year going 6 years strong!
