Way back in 2013, my girlfriend Shelly and I had been enjoying the 2005 HEMI Grand Cherokee Limited that she had purchased in late 2012. Somehow she stumbled on a discussion of a group of people headed by Terrie and Mike regarding a get-together and how it eventually came to benefit Toys for Tots. Instantly, we were intrigued and we joined the run only a few short weeks before it was to happen. This was to become the First Annual Jeeps on the Run Toys for Tots Run. That first run was nuts, as it ended up happening during a driving snowstorm. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and looked forward to the next year. However, it would come with one small change as I purchased my first Wrangler, a White 2000 Sahara, only a few weeks before the second annual run! Ever since those first two years, both Jeeps have participated in each and every main run since they were purchased (including the WK at the 2014 Summer run for Breast Cancer Awareness!)

Both of us look forward to the 10th Anniversary TFT Run in 2022 as it will be the first run for our newest Jeep in the fleet, a 2017 Rubicon Recon! Sadly, the 2000 Sahara will not be making any of the runs for the foreseeable future as it now awaits an engine rebuild and some other work to ensure its status as a driveable vehicle . *Jeep Waves*
